How did Jeff know?

Most of you already know why the title of our blog is "multi-fassetted", but for those of you who don't, we are pregnant with two buns in the oven. I must give credit to Jeff for this one. (Even though I did produce the two eggs.............) I remember back when we were dating. We had gotten to that point in a relationship where you finally feel comfortable talking about your "possible" future together and what your future family might look like. On numerous occasions, Jeff would mention how fun it would be to have twins. This always caught me off guard, but he had the joy of watching his two good friends, Kris and Bri, experience twins and just thought it would be "fun". Seeing as how neither one of us has twins in our families, I really thought the likelihood of this experience would be slim to none. As excited as we are, I'm sure I'll be asking him how "fun" it is when neither one of us has had any sleep for a number of days! LOL
And yes, our twins are fraternal. They are in their own cozy sacs and have their own placentas.

Speaking of my husband, I must make it be known that he really should win some kind of award that is given to husbands of pregnant women. I don't think either one of us had any idea what kind of wild roller-coaster ride this whole pregnancy thing would take us on. When I was at the peak of my all day sickness (the peak lasted several weeks), he really took care of everything. Not only did he take very good care of me, he took care of all housework, laundry, grocery shopping, dog-walking, etc, etc. We had a very serious scare early on and he amazingly kept me sane, despite fighting his own fears. So, Nancy and Jim, my hat is off to you! I can't wait to see what a great dad he is going to be!

So................the countdown is on for our big ultrasound!! On Oct 3, we will (hopefully) find out if we will paint the nursery all pink, all blue or half and half! I have tried to find a way to create a gender poll, but I'm not so techie, so no luck there. Some of you have already given your guesses and some of you already know my intuition, so don't give it away! We would love to hear your guesses............For those of you who like the old wive's tales, both HB's have been in the 160 range. It's still early, so I don't know "how" I'm carrying..........the Chinese calendar says girl, but doesn't consider twins...................Obviously I have had extreme nausea and I crave both salty and sweet things!!!
