Future Model?

So out of the blue, Nico has decided that he loves to have his picture taken. "Take a picture of me over here. Now take another picture." Now, I know most of you are thinking "of course, his dad is a photographer" but, truth be told, Jeff has not done a shoot with them in a VERY long time. It's embarrassing. So we are not quite sure where this love of posing has come from all of a sudden, but he's quite a natural, moving fluidly from one pose to the next. Here are some pics from our outing at the park today and some from around the house.

We have four year olds!!!!

Somehow, it is true. The boys have been four for a week now and I still can't believe it. Exciting and sad at the same time. Four isn't "baby" at all anymore. All of a sudden Blakey wants to be called only Blake, I'm now "mom" and not "mommy" and when I say to one of them "okay, baby boy", I get an emphatic "but I'm not a baby!!!!!". Um, okay then.
We had a first "real" theater experience last weekend. We took the boys to see a kids jazz concert. We knew, of course, that Nicolas would be engaged but I was worried Blake would max out halfway through. Guess what- it was pretty awesome!!! N sat there, hardly blinking, for the full hour. Blake got a little wiggly but handled himself with great self- restraint and we got to stay for the WHOLE concert. If this is four, I say "yes, please!!!".
